This is Maulana Azad college. It is located at Taltala near Dharamatala in Kolkata. The Wellington crossing is beside it. I have passed from this college in this year. Many students are come for take higher study from others district or other state in this college. I am proud for this college, and his study, processors, and etc. Because better study and teaching has here.
Founded in 1926 , this college has carved out a niche in the educational scenario, first as Islamia College and later as Maulana Azad College named after the First Education minister of India. It's carrying out it's legacy .
It's one of the premium college in the city, standing with a historical background and outstanding academic performance. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, first president of Bangladesh is one of the notable alumni of this college. College campus is included one main building along two annexe building, but campus is not spacious enough. The main building of the college is a heritage building having traditional char-bag infront of the college. Besides performing well in the science subjects like chemistry, physics, mathematics, zoology, this college also have a very well-established language wings that's include Bengali, Arabic, Urdu, English etc.
