Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), a deemed university in Udupi, Karnataka, is the sole MDes college in Manipal. It offers postgraduate design programs under its Institute of Design.
Admission to MDes at MAHE requires CUET (Common University Entrance Test) scores. The university is recognized nationally and follows a standardized selection process based on entrance exam performance.
MAHE does not feature in NIRF rankings for design as of 2024. However, it provides access to modern infrastructure and industry-aligned curriculum for design aspirants in Manipal.
